THE WILHELM REICH INFANT TRUST &THE WILHELM REICH MUSEUM
The Wilhelm Reich Museum and The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust thank you for your interest and support. For those of you new to this list, we assure you that none of the names on this e-mail list—nor the names of Museum visitors, conference attendees, or bookstore customers—are shared with any other individuals or organizations. If at any time you wish to be removed from this list, please let us know.
All of our previous Updates, dating from March 2004, are archived on our website at www.wilhelmreichmuseum.org.
THE ARCHIVES OF THE ORGONE INSTITUTE
(i.e. THE WILHELM REICH ARCHIVES)
Information about The Archives of the Orgone Institute is now available on
our website.
This includes a History of the Archives, Access Policies & Procedures, and an Index
of the Archives’ contents.
November 3, 2007 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Wilhelm Reich, M.D.
And in keeping with Reich’s stipulation in his Last Will & Testament that his Archives
be sealed for 50 years following his death, the first week of November 2007 will mark
the beginning of these Archives becoming accessible to scholars and researchers.
The Trust felt it was only appropriate that Reich’s children and their immediate families
should be the first to have access to Reich’s Archives. In the Spring of 2007, the Trust
contacted Reich’s children to let them know that the first week of November would be
set aside for them to study archival materials at the Countway Library of Medicine at
Harvard University.
With the posting of this information, The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust is now accepting
applications from scholars and researchers who wish to study materials from the
Archives of the Orgone Institute.
UNTIL NEXT MONTH
Please share this Update with colleagues, friends, and family who may be
interested in the life and legacy of Wilhelm Reich and the good works
of The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust and The Wilhelm Reich Museum.
Thank you again for your friendship and support.
