Annual Summer Conferences:

Every July the museum hosts a conference on some aspect of Reich's life and work. Distinguished speakers from various fields of study speak on different topics, and guests discuss the material in depth. Please note: there will not be a summer conference in 2008, but a summer conference is being planned for 2009. For information on past programs, click on the "Resources" tab to the left or here.

Natural Science Program:

A workshop at Orgonon's outdoor shelter allows participants to explore wildlifeThis program provides year-round environmental education and recreational activities for all ages without charge. During summer months a nature workshop takes place every Sunday afternoon on the museum property. Naturalists and environmental educators utilize the museum's woods and fields, its trail system, outdoor shelter, bird blind, shore frontage, and conference center to share their knowledge of Rangeley habitat and wildlife and encourage its protection. During the other seasons the museum sponsors family-oriented workshops and outreach programs to local schools and community events take place.The extensive trail system is also widely used for hiking and seasonal activities.Natural Science Program participants fish for minnows and tadpoles
